Friday is usually the day that my husband and I do our grocery shopping. The weather was great and we didn't plan to buy much so, we decided to ride the bikes to the store. The market is not too far away, maybe 15 mins. with the bike and 10 mins. with the train. The great thing is that everything we need is pretty central to our tiny Dorf (a Dorf is a tiny neighborhood or village) We can ride the bikes or take the train into the city and be there within a matter of minutes. We rarely drive the car, which is also a good thing because gas prices are outrageous!

I wanted to share a couple of photos of how we pack everything onto our bicycles after a trip to the supermarket. We both have baskets on the front and back of our bicycles. As you can see both baskets are filled!

On the way home, we stopped to buy fresh strawberries. These strawberries had literally just come out of the ground, they still had a bit of soil on them! My husband had to use his handlebars to transport the strawberries home.

I hope that you had a great weekend!

Have an awesome Monday!
